About Us
Photographer, Alex De Laet, is a self-professed dog fanatic, who recently founded Pet Photo Miami.
Alex bring years of experience behind the camera, dating to the 1990’s, when he worked thousands of fashion industry shoots in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. Now residing in Miami, Alex’s recent work has been focused on capturing images for top national and international commercial ad campaigns and merchandise catalogs. He has also been engaged in Travel & Leisure Lifestyle Photography, an endeavor that has taken him to all corners of the world. Alex also enjoys capturing the perfect portrait and the unique candid to document and memorialize special celebrations of life , such as weddings . He has done this for countless number of satisfied clients. “I love to compose a great photo; always looking for that perfect moment, the best lighting to capture that Image that speaks more than a thousand words.”
Now, he introduces a new venture, “Pet Photo Miami,” where he offers his sharpened talents to produce picture perfect images of your favored Pets. Alex teams up with some of the best pet groomers, pet spas and pet daycares in the Greater Miami Area to provide a convenient service. Alex’s team can set up daily shoots at a number of interesting local venues or a location of your choosing. Pet Photo Miami is equipped with a portable Photo Studio that “Travels Light.” With numerous backgrounds to choose from, we provide a professional quality shoot with a personal touch that maximizes the beauty of your pet.
Fashion shoots involve much work prior to that which happens in front of the lens. Location, hair, make-up, and lighting must be just right, or even the most beautiful model can be wasted. Our approach involves the same fundamentals with photographing your pet. Beautiful images result from grooming , lighting and the right venue. It is our mission to put this
all together for our clients in order to create wonderful memories to be shared with family and friends.
Alex also offers private photography sessions for children, families, and even corporate portraits.
